There are museums that bring the old Finnish culture of the area to life. You can look over the shoulders of artists and craftspeople at their workplaces… A little to the south lies Prästbol, a community proud of its traditions, whose events such as the midsummer celebration take place at the Sjösala homestead (hembygdsgård). There is still a village shop here for everyday shopping.
