There are two buildings with 6 - 7 beds for wonderful holidays in the Swedish countryside.
The main house has a new kitchen and a living room with a fireplace.
The living room is especially cosy, with a crackling open fire.

The guest house has 4 sleeping places. It is equipped with heating elements.

Astonishing but true: there is a deep-drilled well for good drinking water here, and the electricity connection, radiators and an air-source heat pump provide comfort just like on the mainland! There is even Wi-Fi.
The sanitary facilities offer running water with a water heater for washbasin, sink and shower. An incinerating toilet completes the comfort perfectly.
On the mainland there is a right of use for a car parking space, plus a boat berth and boathouse.
Own woodland: 1.5 ha of mixed woodland provides enough wood for your own needs at all times.. Possibility of a hunting lease available.

The location
North-eastern Värmland
The island is in Lake Knon.
Here you will find the towns of Hagfors, with full infrastructure, and Ekshärad on the Klarälven, with a church well worth seeing. Hagfors is a lively centre for the sparsely populated surroundings, with schools, supermarkets, specialist shops, restaurants and much more. Here, on the edge of town with lake access, there are excellent opportunities both to organise everyday life with work and school and to enjoy a free life in nature. Both the house and the garden offer plenty of space for social gatherings.
North-eastern Värmland is a dream for individualists. The landscape is shaped by the majestic Klarälven, which carries meltwater from the Norwegian and Swedish mountain regions south to Lake Vänern. Swimming here is pure refreshment, but there are endless forest lakes waiting to be discovered. Everywhere you can fish, row, pick mushrooms and berries, or meet the wildlife of the north.
You quite forget that the main roads take you to Karlstad or Oslo in no time, and Gothenburg is only 4 hours away. So there are plenty of ways to land here, in the middle of the wilderness, within 1 to 4 hours of the ferry or airport.
