Klarälven, northern Värmland
Sysslebäck is the starting point for the ski areas of Branäs and Langberget and offers a full range of services. The COOP supermarket stocks a rich selection of groceries and household goods.
500 metres to the south is the GA-Halle, with an attractive swimming pool, whirlpool, fitness room and various sports facilities.
The Branäs ski area, with downhill slopes and cross-country trails, is 8 km away. Snowmobile trails start right at the plot.
It is 78 km to Torsby for shopping and 172 km to Karlstad. Oslo-Gardermoen airport is 203 km away.
North-eastern Värmland is a dream for individualists. The landscape is shaped by the majestic Klarälven, which carries meltwater from the Norwegian and Swedish mountain regions south to Lake Vänern. Swimming here is pure refreshment, but there are endless forest lakes waiting to be discovered. Everywhere you can fish, row, pick mushrooms and berries, or meet the wildlife of the north.
You quite forget that the main roads take you to Karlstad or Oslo in no time, and Gothenburg is only 4 hours away. So there are plenty of ways to land here, in the middle of the wilderness, within 1 to 4 hours of the ferry or airport.
